Cambodia's DPM Sophea Meets Peruvian Foreign Minister to Discuss Bilateral Ties

Jakarta, Indonesia - On September 4, 2023, Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea, who serves as Cambodia's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a significant meeting with Ana Cecilia Gervasi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru, in Jakarta. The discussions during this diplomatic encounter were centered on the exploration of opportunities to bolster bilateral cooperation and regional collaboration.

A pivotal outcome of this meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Establishment of a Bilateral Consultation. This MoU signifies the commitment of both parties to foster closer ties and facilitate ongoing dialogue between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru.
