“Not For the Faint-Hearted”

INTERNATIONAL: If you have a fear of heights, you might want to steer clear of Sao Paulo’s tallest building. Mirante do Vale is not the world’s tallest building, but a new feature on its 42nd floor will no doubt become a tourist attraction.

The “Sampa Sky” is a glass box that juts out from the side of the building, giving you a dizzying view of the concrete jungle right below your feet. It doesn’t open officially until Sunday, but a few social media influencers were given a preview on Thursday.

The Sampa Sky was inspired by Chicago's Skydeck, which sits on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower. Sao Paulo’s lookout might only be 42 floors up, but it will still put your fear of heights to the test.
