Free Rapid Tests on Request

Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Health has announced that rapid tests for Covid-19 are now available free of charge, on request, at all public health facilities around the country. The Ministry says these free tests are available for individuals, not large groups of people.

For companies and businesses needing rapid test kits for their staff, they can contact the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, which is selling WHO-approved kits for $3.70 each.

The announcement comes as more Delta cases of Covid-19 are confirmed across the country. In the past 24 hours alone, 5 more cases have been confirmed in Phnom Penh, with 18 in Siem Reap. The Health Ministry is urging everyone to be extremely careful when going out and to adhere to the preventative measures, such as wearing a mask, maintaining a safe social distance and avoiding crowded spaces.
