PM Encourages Workers to Point Out Those Who Incite Foreign Sanctions

KAMPONG SPEU: Prime Minister Hun Sen encouraged workers to help in the fight against the opposition by pointing out those who want to incite foreigners to impose sanctions on Cambodia.

In a meeting with nearly 20,000 workers on the morning of June 27, in Kampong Speu province, he said that the Royal Government is trying to attract investors to invest in Cambodia to create jobs for the people. Meanwhile, he said the opposition is always inciting foreigners to punish Cambodia.

He highlighted sanctions as a threat to workers in the country. The PM encouraged all workers to dare to face and point out any opposition groups that want foreigners to impose sanctions on Cambodia.

He said maintaining political and economic stability would help make Cambodia stronger.
