Prime Minister Aims to Make Factories A Safer Working Environment

Svay Rieng: Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia has expressed his commitment to ensuring that all factories become safe and secure environment.

He called upon employers and workers to refrain from engaging in violence, drug distribution, or any other forms of misconduct, aligning with the policies of safe villages and communes that prioritize the well-being of the people.

"In striving for a common goal, both factory owners and workers should support one another," he emphasized. "By working together, we can reap mutual benefits."

The Prime Minister conveyed these remarks during a gathering with over 20,000 workers at the Svay Rieng Special Economic Zone on the morning of June 25, 2023.
