Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia instructed the Governor of Svay Rieng Province to deliver five million Riels as assistance to a female worker who gave birth on the same day he visited the workers in the province.

The Prime Minister made this announcement during his meeting with over 20,000 workers at the Svay Rieng Special Economic Zone on the morning of June 25, 2023.

The worker in question had been invited to participate in the program alongside the Prime Minister. However, due to her delivery being scheduled for that day, she was admitted to the Bavet City Hospital.
