‘Enough is Enough’-Hun Many Cannot Tolerate Online Insults of His Family

PHNOM PENH: The youngest son of Prime Minister Hun Sen, MP Hun Many, announced that he cannot ignore the repeated insults against his family from those who disagree with them. He then reiterated his strong stance against immoral politics.

“Enough is enough,” wrote Hun Many on a Facebook post on the afternoon of June 23. He said he could no longer tolerate the unscrupulous comments from critics of the Prime Minister. He said, "I really cannot accept the use of words that seriously insult my family's life from unscrupulous people of the opposition. Repeated insults like this are unethical and absolutely unforgivable."

He then posted a number of screenshots from Facebook users Daley Uy and Kim Sok, which used insulting language regarding Prime Minister Hun Sen and his family. He said this was not the first time these men had engaged in immoral politics against his family and that he could not tolerate such immoral behaviour.

"I won’t abandon the interests of the country and the people, but for you, there must be other measures that are in line with your character," he said. "People and especially young Cambodians know my character, but you are teaching me how to do politics now."
