KAMPONG SPEU: Prime Minister Hun Sen announced that employees will be given paid time off from July 22-24 so that they have enough time to get to the polls.

Meeting with more than 16,000 workers in Kampong Speu province this morning, the PM urged workers to go to the polls and vote for whatever party they like. He also called on all factory owners to allow workers three days off during the election with salary.

The PM confirmed that he will prepare a sub-decree to clarify the issue.

The 7th National Assembly Election will be held on July 23, 2023, with 18 political parties registered by the NEC for the national election.
