King Home following Trip to India

PHNOM PENH: King Norodom Sihamoni returned from his state visit to India this afternoon following a three day trip that began on May 29.

The King’s trip was in celebration of 70 years of diplomatic relations between Cambodia and India. During his time abroad, he held a royal audience with Indian President Droupadi Murmu, who welcomed him with an official reception.

The visit was an important acknowledgement of long-standing good relations between the two countries. The leaders were able to deepen their close cooperation which is rooted in a shared cultural, religious and historical heritage that benefits the people of both countries.
