PM: European Football Teams Wear Clothes Made in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: Speaking to nearly 20,000 factory workers, many of whom produce garments, Prime Minister Hun Sen expressed pride that European footballers wear sportswear made in Cambodia via deals with Adidas and Nike.

On the morning of May 26, the PM said, "I buy sportswear, look at the tag, and see its made in Cambodia; people gift me sportswear and I see ‘Made in Cambodia’ again.”

He expressed his appreciation for the work of Cambodian laborers, who produce on par with other countries. He went on to urge factory owners to increase employee training to meet quality production needs.
