One dead, 23 Buses Burned in Phnom Penh Fire

Phnom Penh: One person died while 23 vehicles got burned after a fire broke out at Chroy Changvar district in Phnom Penh Friday afternoon. The fire rages the terminal of Vireak Buntham buses owned by Mr. Sou Vireak. According to the investigation by fire and police units, the fire started at around 3:30 pm. Due to the strong wind, it quickly burned more than 20 of the vehicles and trapped one person that was killed.

Police and fire investigators have difficulty in identifying the victim burned during the fire incident. They are also investigating as to the cause of the fire and the total value of the properties destroyed. The fire was put out after two hours of fighting. No houses were reported damaged during the fire incident in the terminal.
