Phnom Penh: The Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, said that the successful organization of the SEA Games in Cambodia is a reflection of a slogan that says that sports live in peace.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the SEA Games at the Moradok Techo National Stadium on the night of May 17, 2023, PM Hun Sen said that peace has led Cambodia to successfully host the first SEA Games in the country.

He also called on the people to join the government in safeguarding the peace in Cambodia.

Hosting the SEA Games and the ASEAN Para Games is a source of pride and prestige for the country and the people of Cambodia, who have been waiting for 64 years.

The SEA Games will be held from May 5-17, 2023 and the ASEAN Para Games will be held from June 3-09, 2023.
