Cambodia Continues to Shine with 137 Medals and Counting

PHNOM PENH: Cambodia sits third on the medal tally with still more medals to be won at the 2023 SEA Games. Currently Cambodia has 47 gold, 41 silver and 49 bronze. Vietnam is leading the Medal tally with 162 medals total.

Cambodia continues to shine at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games, with athletes winning medals in a variety of sports. As of May 11, 2023, Cambodia is in third place in the medal tally, with 47 gold medals, 41 silver medals, and 49 bronze medals.

Vietnam are on top with 50 gold, 51 silver and 61, bronze followed by Thailand in second with 50 gold, 36 silver and 52 bronze medals, Indonesia ranks fourth with 122 medals, followed by Singapore with 75 medals and the Philippines with 125 medals total.

The athletes have been putting in a lot of hard work and dedication, and it is paying off. They have been winning medals in a variety of sports, and they are making Cambodia proud. The government and the people of Cambodia are very proud of the athletes. They are showing the world that Cambodia is a country that is capable of world-class athleticism.

Bou Samnang has become one of the outstanding heroes that everyone has fallen in love with; with her never-give-up attitude through the pouring rain. She kept running with tears in her eyes as a group of spectators cheered her on to finish her race.

Coach Keisuke Honda posted a heartfelt message upon his five year tenure leading the Cambodian national football team came to an end last night. He said, "Have a dream, follow the dream." He resigned his duties after Cambodia’s final football match against Indonesia last night.
