PM Remarks on His Lack of Freedom

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen reflected on the restrictions he faces on his freedom due to always being surrounded by security.

The Prime Minister recalled a private trip he took to Kep in early April when his security team escorted him all the way from Kandal to Kep and had also prepared a helicopter.

The Prime Minister lamented his lack of freedom, even when attending to his private affairs, thus, shared with resolve that he will no longer disclose his private appointments to his security team in advance.

Prime Minister Hun Sen made these remarks at the inauguration ceremony of a new temple in Wat Barmey Vong Borey in Sangkat Toul Kork, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh on Monday morning, 24 April 2023.
