Phnom Penh: The King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, has ordered the appointment of Mr. Yim Sinorn as Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training. Only one day after he asked to join to the CPP.

In a Royal Decree signed by the King of Cambodia on April 22, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni signed it under the auspices of the Prime Minister Hun Sen.

It should also be noted that Mr. Yim Sinan is a former activist of the National Rescue Party in South Korea.

On the morning of April 21, 2023, PM Welcomes Yim Sinan to CPP after he wrote in Facebook using his wife Makara Sophat Page that after a month in prison, he knew who his real friends were and who his true fighters were in the political arena. He added that during his 12 years with the opposition, who had been holding banners shouting at the government to release the opposition from prison, he had always joined the condemnation, but at the end of his imprisonment there was no demand for his release only receive insulting and painting from opposition group.

He considers the opposition, which he has been with for more than a decade, to be cruel, immoral and unqualified leaders.

"They came to power. The first people they had to kill or imprison were the real Democrats who did not agree with the ideas or views that did not support them, like me or anyone else," he wrote.

Sinorn, who was jailed for insulting the King during his visit to Siem Reap on March 21, wrote that he did not want to see any party or group of false democracy does not have the opportunity to lead Cambodia, so he wants to join the CPP to have the full potential and opportunity to serve the people and the country.

"If Samdech gives me the opportunity and permission, I would like to join the political life with the Cambodian People's Party in order to have the full opportunity and opportunity to serve the people and the country under the umbrella of peace," he said.
