Around 3,000 Seats for SEA Games Opening-Closing Ceremonies Reserved for Cambodians Living Overseas

PHNOM PENH: The Cambodian SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC) has announced that some 3,000 seats at the Morodok Techo National Stadium for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 32nd SEA Games are being specially reserved for Cambodians living overseas.

The Minister of Tourism and Permanent Vice President of CAMSOC, Thong Khon, shared this information during a meeting on Wednesday, 19 April 2023.

Cambodians living abroad can register for free tickets online and can pick them up at the front of the Morodok Techo National Stadium from 24 April onwards. The CAMSOC President added that overseas Cambodians can also ask someone else to pick up the tickets on their behalf, as long as the person retrieving the tickets brings along the necessary passport identification.

The opening and closing ceremonies of the SEA Games, as well as all sports competitions, will be free of charge and open to all members of the public. Minister Thong Khon stated that the online mode of registration for tickets is also very convenient with the public’s ease of access in mind.

Physical tickets can be picked up between the following times: from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

CAMSOC estimates that around 60,000 national and international guests will participate in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 32nd SEA Games at the Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh.
