PM Promotes the Production of Local Products

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has urged the relevant parties to consider producing local products for Cambodian citizens and to also distribute these products to tourist destinations.

While speaking at the gathering and solidarity dinner with small and medium enterprises and Cambodian handicrafts businesses on Monday afternoon, 10 April 2023, the Prime Minister urged all relevant ministries and institutions to make sure that the Cambodian people have access to local products at their respective districts and to partly export these products to tourist destinations as well.

The Prime Minister made this statement while examining the growth of Cambodia's tourism sector, identifying this as an opportunity to send Cambodian products to foreign countries.
