BREAKING NEWS: Prime Minister Donates 20 000usd to Thiago and Plans to Give Citizenship

Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister of Cambodia has donated Brazilian player Thiago Teixeira with a budget of $ 20,000 and plans to ask the King to grant him citizenship.

He wrote in his telegram on April 8: "As an encouragement, I would like to support the Brazilian boxer Thiago Teixeira with a budget of $ 20,000.”On the other hand, if there is no legal violation of Brazil, I will ask the King to give Khmer citizenship to Thiago."

This decision comes after a Thai sports federation, the WMO World Muay Thai Organization, announced the removal of Tiago from its athletes list after Thiago expressed support for Khmer martial arts.

The WMO accused Thiago of acting inappropriately and for political reasons.

The International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) has since announced that any country participating in Kun Khmer would be banned from joining major events such as the World Games, Asian Indoor Games, Asian Martial Arts Games, and World Boxing Championship.
