Cambodia’s Top 30 Bars Crowned for International Recognition

Phnom Penh, 30 March 2023 – Deserving Top 30 bars were recognised for their exceptional service, outstanding drinks, and vibrant atmosphere at the country's first-ever Top30 Bar gala awards night, held on March 30, 2023. The event, celebrating Cambodia's finest bars, was a resounding success with an array of spectacular drinks, incredible entertainment, and recognition of the best bars in the country.

Top30 Bar Awards, which have its origins in Malaysia, aims to recognize the country's top bars while highlighting the bartenders' skills to promote them to potential local and global markets. Additionally, the prestigious award serves as a platform to improve the reputation and quality of Cambodia's bars and the country's food and beverage sector.

Mr. Alvin Sinclair, founder of Top 30 awards program, shared his excitement about the event, saying, "It was a great honor to witness the country's top bartenders and mixologists come together and shine in their craft. We're thrilled to acknowledge and celebrate their hard work and talent through the Cambodia's Top 30 Bar Awards."

The event started with the nomination of 150 bars listed throughout the main cities of Cambodia. A shortlist was then whittled down to 100, and the shortlisted bars were evaluated by a group of industry-selected juries to make the 50 finalists.
