BREAKING NEWS: Yim Sinorn was released after apologizing to the King and Samdech Techo

Phnom Penh: Mr. Yim Sinan was released on the night of March 29, 2023. His release came just hours after he released a video apologizing to the King and apologizing to PM Hun Sen.

It should be noted that on March 22, the Phnom Penh Municipal Court has ordered the detention of two former opposition activists, Yim Sinorn and Hun Kosal, on charges of "insulting the King and inciting serious social unrest" under Article 437 (duplicate) of the Law on the Amendment of the Criminal Code, and Articles 494 and 495 of the Criminal Code of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
