PM Believes Cambodia Can Become World's Number One Cashew Exporter

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has said he believes Cambodia can become the world's leading cashew exporter, after the latest data reveals that Cambodia is now overtaking Ivory Coast in cashew exports.

The Prime Minister called for more studies to be conducted on this matter so that the government may invest in further developing local cashew crops.

The Prime Minister made these remarks at the closing ceremony of the annual meeting to review the work of the Ministry of Agriculture on Friday, 24 March 2023.
