PM Calls for Correction on the Beginning of Win-Win Policy

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has requested that understanding on the beginning of his win-win policy be corrected.

The Prime Minister clarified that the win-win political process was not implemented in 1998, as this policy was launched in 1996.

"29 December 1998 is the end of the win-win policy," he said.

It should be noted that for the past 23 years, Cambodia has considered 29 December 1998 as the end of the civil war and the achievement of complete peace through the win-win policy.
