Cambodian Foreign Minister to Visit Thailand to Strengthen and Expand Cooperation

PHNOM PENH: The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, DPM Prak Sokhonn, will pay an official state visit to Thailand from 23-24 February 2023 to further deepen and expand the growing cooperation between Cambodia and Thailand. The DPM is paying this visit at the invitation of Thai Foreign Minister, Don Pramudwinai.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two Foreign Ministers will hold a meeting to discuss improving bilateral relations and increasing cooperation in all fields, including trade, investment, tourism, employment, education, health, culture and cooperation within the ASEAN framework, and will also discuss regional and international issues of common interest and concern.

DPM Prak Sokhonn will also pay a courtesy visit to the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, Prayut Chan-o-cha.

The Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has emphasized that the traditional friendship, good neighborliness and close cooperation in all fields between Cambodia and Thailand have been constantly strengthened and expanded until now, and the two countries have established a "Partnership for Peace and Prosperity."
