BREAKING NEWS: VOD Officially Closes at 10 am on 13 February

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen announced that he did not change his decision to close down VOD even after receiving an apology from the media outlet because it was too late.

The Prime Minister wrote on his Facebook page on Monday morning, 13 February, asking why VOD did not apologize for the mistake the night before.

"We are not children," he wrote.

The Prime Minister stated that this apology may have only been made because the previous letter of regret sent by VOD failed to properly apologize for the mistake and only asked for forgiveness.

"I, Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, have not changed my decision to shut down VOD," he wrote.

He also informed other competent institutions to continue performing their duties as assigned without any change.
