Prime Minister Hun Sen Welcomed with Red Carpet in China

BEIJING: Prime Minister Hun Sen and his accompanying delegation arrived safely in the People's Republic of China (PRC) at around 1:20 pm CST (12:20 pm in Cambodia). A red carpet was prepared to welcome the Prime Minister as he departed from the plane.

The Prime Minister's presence was warmly welcomed by Chinese leaders, the Cambodian Ambassador to the PRC and many other important delegates.

During his current visit to China, the Prime Minister will pay courtesy calls to the Chinese President, Xi Jinping, and Speaker of the National People's Congress, Li Zhanshu. He will also hold bilateral meetings with Chinese Premier, Li Keqiang, to exchange views and discuss bilateral ties and cooperation, as well as common regional and international issues of common interest and concern.

The two premiers are expected to preside over the signing ceremony of some cooperation documents.

The Prime Minister's visit to China will provide an opportunity for both governments to further advance the comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation and deepen the building of a Cambodia-China community toward a shared future for the mutual benefit of both peoples and nations.
