PM Thanks Higher Education Institutions for Conducting Human Resource Training During Pandemic

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has thanked all private higher education institutions that joined the Royal Government in the fight against Covid-19, and also for participating in human resource training during the pandemic.

The Prime Minister made these remarks while meeting with a higher education delegation on Wednesday morning, 1 February 2023, at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh.

The Prime Minister’s aide, Eang Sophalleth, told the media after the meeting that the Prime Minister believes the participation of all private institutions in these development activities helps Cambodia grow further.

In order to prevent the greater spread of Covid-19, schools across Cambodia closed and shifted to online learning on 16 March 2020, signaling a new turning point in education in the country.
