100-Day Countdown to SEA Games Begins

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has posted a message welcoming the start of the 100-day countdown to the 32nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games and 12th ASEAN Para Games, on Wednesday morning, 25 January 2023. Cambodia will be hosting the games for the first time this May.

"The final 100 days are essential for completing hospitality preparations for the sports delegations visiting Cambodia, and in ensuring Cambodia's success as host," the Prime Minister said.

Following an increase in the budget allocated for the SEA Games and the ASEAN Para Games to more than US $100 million, Prime Minister Hun Sen said that Cambodia will strive to ensure that the games, which will be held in May and June, are organized in a safe and enjoyable manner for all visitors in attendance
