PM Wants All His Grandchildren to Get At Least a Master's Degree

PHNOM PENH: The Prime Minister of Cambodia has congratulated his eldest granddaughter for receiving her Bachelor's degree in France on Tuesday, 17 January 2023.

With this celebration, Prime Minister Hun Sen also mentioned that he and First Lady Bun Rany Hun Sen wish to see their grandchildren study up until they receive Master’s Degrees.

The Prime Minister shared a photo of his granddaughter at her graduation ceremony on his official Facebook page and wrote, "Today, my eldest granddaughter received a Bachelor's degree with congratulations from her grandparents and family. She is not finished yet, as [the lowest degree she will get is a Master's degree] with the goal of getting a PhD. Grandparents want all their grandchildren to have their lowest degree be a Master’s degree, and the highest to be a doctorate. This is the goal of our family, each of the grandchildren and their parents have to work under my guidance as the head of the family.”

Prime Minister Hun Sen has five children and 22 grandchildren.
