BREAKING NEWS: PM Gives Kong Koam One Month to Return Property Worth Millions of Dollars Back to The State

Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, has again sent a warning message and given a month to Kong Koam to return the land and house in Chamkarmon district near the Russian Embassy worth millions of dollars to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The announcement was made by PM on his Facebook page on the night of January 11, 2023.

He wrote on his Facebook page that he had never agreed to let Kong Koam own the house.

PM wrote: "Kong Koam confirmed that he went to stay at a house belonging to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, just to" inform me as I was the Minister at that time "and not" request "Take ownership of the house." "Therefore, there was no decision from me, to hand over the house and land of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Kong Koam."

He stated that legally, this house and land is still "legal property of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs" without any change and the Royal Government will take legal action to demand the return of the house and land belonging to the state.

To avoid the consequences of lawsuits and legal actions, PM advised Kong Koam to return the house and land to the state.

"As the leader who has been in power for more than 44 years from 1979 to the present, I urge Kong Koam to return the houses and land that belonged to Kong Koam stayed and falsified as private property, with a limited time of one month from today "January 11, 2023" onwards.

It should also be noted that Kong Koam's house is currently the headquarters of the Khmer Will Party, located near the Russian Embassy in the city, which can cost more than $ 10,000 per square meter.
