44 years of unity, struggle and victory

Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister and President of the Cambodian People's Party, Hun Sen, said that the spirit of January 7 has been immortal in the hearts of all Cambodians and all generations to come. "44 years of solidarity, 44 years of heroic struggle and 44 years of victory for the Cambodian people," he added.

President of CPP Hun Sen Remarks at the Remembrance Ceremony of the 44th Anniversary of the January 7, 2023 Victory Day: “Our commitment to bring new achievements in socio-economic development and to build a glorious future for our children for generations to come without the recurrence of wars, national divisions and genocides like the past”.

January 7, 2023 is the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Kampuchean United Front for National Salvation, the overthrow of Democratic Kampuchea, the Khmer Rouge and has ruled the country ever since. It has been 44 years since this victory day was recorded in history and was celebrated nationwide.
