BREAKING NEWS: Two Bodies Found as Fire Continues to Burn Casino in Poipet

BANTEAY MEANCHEY: Two people have been found dead on the roof of a building engulfed in a huge fire in Poipet City, Banteay Meanchey Province, as of 7:40 am on Thursday, 29 December 2022.

Firefighters continue to try and extinguish the flames and conduct a rescue mission.

The bodies of two men were found on the east building of the Grand Diamond City Casino, near the building on fire. One body was found with a crushed head while the other was missing a leg. Witnesses say the two people jumped out of a window on a higher floor in a panic when the fire broke out at around 11 pm on Wednesday, 28 December 2022.

Several others have reportedly also jumped out of the building on fire. Some have been rescued by authorities.
