PM Thanks Australian for Supporting Cambodian people's right to life

Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, thanked the Australian Government for providing Covid-19 vaccines and Vaccine's refrigerator to Cambodia, which has helped the Cambodian people to recover from the disease of Covid 19.

This thanks was made when PM allowed the outgoing Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, Mr. Pablo Kang, to pay a courtesy call and bid farewell at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh on the afternoon of December 19, 2022.

Prime Minister Hun Sen said: "This assistance is very important to prevent Covid-19, a hidden killer from killing the Cambodian people. The right to life is very important for Cambodia, without the right to life, there is no need to talk about any other right."

Mr. Pablo Kang said that he was pleased to be the Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, although during his tenure at the time of Covid-19, he had made a significant contribution to the strengthening of Australian-Cambodian relations through vaccination assistance Demining and providing scholarships to Cambodian students.

He also congratulated PM as well as the Cambodian government for leading ASEAN successfully in 2022.

In response, PM also thanked the Australian Ambassador for his contribution to strengthening Cambodian-Australian relations during his term in Cambodia.
