Cambodian PM Receives Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Leader

Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Hun Sen has been awarded the "Lifetime Achievement of Outstanding Leader" by the Strategic Institute for Asia-Pacific (KSI).

The award ceremony took place on the morning of December 19, 2022, at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh.

The decision to award the "Lifetime Achievement of Outstanding Leader" to the Prime Minister of Cambodia was made after the Institute researched and evaluated details of the leadership qualities and achievements of Prime Minister Hun Sen. The Institute recognized his ability, wisdom, and conscience for the nation and people of Cambodia. The Prime Minister has worked tirelessly to bring Cambodia peace, tranquility, progress, and prosperity.

The institute also commended Prime Minister Hun Sen's leadership in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic, saving people's lives, and swiftly bringing the country out of the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to his glorious achievements that the Institute stated, Prime Minister Hun Sen, as ASEAN Chair 2022, has made ASEAN a potential forum for discussion on addressing pressing issues that have never occurred in ASEAN history.

The Strategic Institute for Asia-Pacific (KSI), based in Malaysia, is an independent, non-profit organization that is a superconnector between governments, businesses, and civil society to translate ideas into impact.

The main goal of the Institute is to build better nations across Asia and the Pacific. KSI is the leading curator of impactful and innovative conferences and forums, having engaged over 3,000 policymakers, business captains, and NGO leaders through more than 60 high-level events since late 2018. KSI is currently the Secretariat for the prestigious Economic Club of Kuala Lumpur (ECKL), the ASEAN Economic Club (AEC).

The institute regularly evaluates and award leaders, countries, businesses, and civil society organizations for their achievements.
