Variety Ancient Traditional Performances Performed At the Angkor Remembrance Event

SIEM REAP: Various types of classical performances were performed at the Angkor Commemoration Event as well as to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Angkor Archaeological Park registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The event was attended by many high-profile artists as well as honored guests.

A variety of Khmer traditional art performances were performed at the Angkor Remembrance Event, which was attended by many local artists.

The opening ceremony of Angkor Memorial on the morning of December 14, 2022, received praises from many important leaders and a large number of national and international tourists.

On the first day of the Angkor Remembrance Event, beside religious ceremonies, there was a performance of modern theater, mixed scenes of the civilization of the reign of King Jayavarman VII, traditional dances, traditional performances, chapei dong veng performance, bokator Khmer performances and songs sung by Cambodian singers. Including Kun Khmer.

It should be noted that the Angkor remembrance event will be held for 3 days from 14-16 December. On the evening of the 14th, there will be an Ayai performed by Mr. Prohm Manh and a screening of a documentary film about Angkor located at the terrace of the elephants of Angkor Thom which is free to join.
