Nearly 900 Kg of Drugs Was Seized By Sihanoukville Authorities

Sihanoukville: Authorities raided a large-scale drug trafficking case at a rental warehouse in Sangkat 1, Sihanoukville, on December 11, 2022, confiscating 34 bags of drugs, equivalent to 884 kilograms.

Sihanoukville Gendarmerie Commander, Brigadier General Heng Bunty, stated that the crackdown on this drug bust came after the provincial Gendarmerie conducted a search under the coordination of the Deputy Prosecutor of the Sihanoukville Provincial Court, Mr. Chan Darith.

In the operation to crack down on drug crime, the criminal was not present at the location where the drugs were found; A search to find the relevant criminals is been conducted. Currently, the confiscated drugs are kept at the Sihanoukville Gendarmerie to continue the legal procedure.
