The Royal Palace Will Reopen to National and International Tourists from December

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of the Royal Palace has announced that the palace will reopen for national and international tourists from 1 December 2022 onwards. This is according to a letter sent by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, to the Minister of Tourism on Thursday, 17 November.

The Royal Palace has been closed to national and international tourists since the Covid-19 outbreak began on 18 March 2020. At the time, the Royal Government had also ordered for the closure of KTV venues, entertainment clubs, cinemas, and museums across the country. Now that the pandemic situation in Cambodia is stable and under control, most venues have reopened across various sectors and businesses.
