Man Dies After Falling Wooden Plank Strikes His Head at Construction Site in Phnom Penh

PHNOM PENH: On Tuesday afternoon, 15 November 2022, a man tragically died after a wooden plank fell on him at a construction site in Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Khan Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh.

The victim was around 20 years old and worked as a freight forwarder at the construction site where the incident occurred.

According to witnesses, the victim was delivering supplies to the construction site when a wooden plank fell and struck him on the head.

The victim reportedly attempted to dodge the falling wooden plank but failed and was struck on the head, resulting in his sudden death at the scene.
