Kandal Conducts Rapid Tests on Police and Other Provincial Officials

Kandal: While exact numbers have not been released to the media, “several” of Kandal’s police and military police have become infected with Covid-19. As a result, all Kandal provincial police and military police officers, as well as Takhmao City police officers, have now been tested.

Kandal Provincial Police Commissioner, Mr. Chhoun Sochett, told EAC News that the rapid tests were carried out to prevent any further spread of Covid-19 among the province’s law enforcement officials.

The Kandal provincial governor has urged everyone to be extremely vigilant at this time.
