Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Sen as the President of ASEAN in 2022 has apologized to the Head of State and Head of the Government who attended the upcoming ASEAN Summit for the absence of his wife, Bun Rany Hun Sen Who could not accompany the PM in the upcoming meeting.

PM wrote on his Facebook page on the morning of November 6, 2022 that the absence of his wife in past meetings and the upcoming ASEAN Summit is due to her l health problems related to the spine.

He said: "My wife has a health problem related to the spine that doctors require her to not be able to sit for long. I would like to apologize to the wife of the head of state, the head of government of various countries who will come to Cambodia in the next few days, which my wife can not get out because of the period of treatment."

The ASEAN Summit 2022 will be held from November 10 to November 13, 2022 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
