Prime Minister Hun Sen Assures Stronger Ties with China’s CPC

Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Hun Sen has guaranteed to strengthen the close relations and cooperation between the Cambodian People’s Party, the CPP, and the Communist Part of China on the occasion of its centenary. He has congratulated Chinese President Xi Jinping in a letter saying that “despite being the world’s most populated country with many different ethnicities”, China under the “wise leadership of the CPC” has achieved greater unity, harmony and prosperity.

The Prime Minister has praised the CPC for being able to “withstand storms and overcome challenges” and has ultimately brought enormous progress and prosperity while changing the course of the country’s history and the people’s destiny.

He has also honoured the CPC’s people-centered policy as a core approach for initiatives and political decision-making, as he believes this has helped China promote high-quality economic growth and has provided clear direction for the country’s new national development policy.
