Cambodian Youth Are Lucky to Be Born in a Time Without War

PHNOM PENH: Young Cambodians are lucky to be living in a time when the country is as peaceful as it is now. This was stated by Prime Minister Hun Sen during the graduation ceremony for students of the Royal University of Law and Economics on Tuesday, 1 November 2022.

The Prime Minister made this statement because Cambodia is peaceful, has the opportunity to develop itself and provide opportunities for students to study. The Prime Minister also recalled the period of war that Cambodia went through in relation to the current situation in Ukraine.

Prime Minister Hun Sen also mentioned that he will be holding a telephone meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, at 4 pm on Tuesday, 1 November.
