PM: Zero Cases Yesterday Shows Our Success in Fighting Against Covid-19

SIEM REAP: The Prime Minister of Cambodia has expressed his happiness over the report that there were no new recorded cases of Covid-19 on Thursday, 20 October, according to the daily statistics posted by the Ministry of Health.

During a third meeting with the residents of Run Ta Ek village on Friday morning, 21 October, Prime Minister Hun Sen said that this is a great success for Cambodia in the fight against Covid-19.

He shared his observation that most people appear to be used to wearing masks so continue to do so, but some also no longer wear masks out in public. He, however, encourages people to continue wearing masks and following the '3 Do's and 3 Don't's.'

As of Friday, 21 October, there have been more than 130,000 cases and 3,056 deaths from Covid-19 in Cambodia, according to the Ministry of Health.
