Low to Moderate Rain Expected to Resume from 22-25 October in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has announced the upcoming forecast for the month, saying that from 19-21 October, Cambodia will continue to be affected by high pressure from China, but from 22-25 October, the influence of low-pressure valleys from the South China Sea will increase in the south.

These effects will make it so that the central lowlands, from 19-21 October, will see almost no rain. However, after this period, the capitals and provinces in the lower and northern parts of Cambodia will receive light to moderate rain mixed with thunder and gusts of wind. Other provinces may experience less rain. The central lowlands will have a minimum temperature of 22-24 degrees and a maximum temperature of 30-32 degrees.

From 19-21 October the highlands will also see almost no rain. However, after this time period, there will be light to moderate rain mixed with thunder, lightning, and large gusts of wind. The area will have a minimum temperature of 20-22 degrees and a maximum temperature of 29-31 degrees.

In the coastal areas, there may be light to moderate rain mixed with thunder and gusts of wind. Coastal areas will have a minimum temperature of 22-24 degrees and a maximum temperature of 29-31 degrees.
