Missing Followers! Facebook Apologizes and Tries to Get Things Back on Track

PHNOM PENH: Many Facebook users have expressed surprise and concern about a noticeable drop in the number of their followers on their Facebook profiles. This has been an issue observed by so many people that Facebook has now come out and apologized to its users, saying that the company is currently working on fixing this problem.

Facebook has not yet confirmed the cause for the drop in the number of followers, however, a Meta spokesperson has said that they are “aware that some people are seeing inconsistent follower counts on their Facebook profiles” and are “working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible,” apologizing for the inconvenience.

On Wednesday morning, 12 October, the most popular social media users in Cambodia with the largest numbers of followers shared screenshots of their follower counts, showing how they had suddenly dropped from before.
