President of the Olympic Council of Asia Praises the Royal Government's Leadership

PHNOM PENH: The President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), Raja Randhir Singh, has praised Prime Minister Hun Sen and the Royal Government of Cambodia for good leadership that has allowed the country develop, and especially for building and organizing a good national stadium for the upcoming Southeast Asian (SEA) Games that Cambodia will host in 2023.

During the Tuesday morning, 4 October, meeting Singh added that he really believes that Cambodia will be able to organize and hold the upcoming SEA Games with success.

Prime Minister Hun Sen welcomed the President and visiting delegation of the OCA to Cambodia. During the meeting, he also noted that although Asia has a large population, it is not certain that there will be good outcomes for the Olympic Games.

He added that the competition for medals is only one factor of these competitions, but the most important thing is the moral factor of playing sports.
