Foreign Travelers No Longer Required to Show Covid-19 Vaccination Cards Upon Arrival in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: The Royal Government of Cambodia has decided to remove the safety measure requiring foreign travelers to show their Covid-19 vaccine card upon arriving in Cambodia by land, sea, or air.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Health on Monday, 3 October, the Ministry of Health agreed to withdraw this measure as instructed by Prime Minister Hun Sen.

However, the government has also ordered for temperature checks to remain at all entrances and exits, and officers at border checkpoints will still be responsible for monitoring and giving advice to passengers who show symptoms of Covid-19.

Although Prime Minister Hun Sen has lifted the requirement to show Covid-19 vaccine cards upon arrival in Cambodia, the Ministry of Health still calls on all members of the public who have not yet been vaccinated with the basic doses of Covid-19 to please go and get vaccinated immediately. The Ministry of Health also calls on the public to be vigilant and continue to implement the '3 Do's and 3 Don't's' to prevent the further spread of Covid-19 and the local community.
