Minimum Wage for Garment Workers Increased to $200 Per Month

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training has announced that the minimum wage of workers in the textile, garment and footwear sector will increase to US $6 an hour in 2023, equivalent to US $200 per month. This is according to an announcement made by the National Minimum Wage Council on Wednesday, 21 September.

The minimum wage for textile, garment and footwear workers for 2022 was US $194.
