All Schools in Phnom Penh Will Close for Three Days in November to Facilitate the ASEAN Summit

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Education has decided to suspend public and private schools in Phnom Penh for three days in November to facilitate the ASEAN Summit.

In an announcement released on Monday, 12 September, the Ministry of Education confirmed that the suspension of educational institutions for three days is to reduce traffic disruption and facilitate the movement of delegates’ vehicles in Phnom Penh during the ASEAN Summit from 10-13 November 2022.

The Ministry also instruct the Phnom Penh Department of Education, Youth and Sports to inform all its offices about the three-day suspension, along with notifying parents, guardians and school staff to participate accordingly.
