BOEING Predicts that Tourist arrivals in Cambodia Will Back as Normal in One Year

Phnom Penh: BOEING predicts that the number of passengers to Cambodia will return as in 2019 at the end of 2023 or early 2024, said civil aviation spokesman Dr. Sinn ChanSerey Vutha.

This estimate is based on the global situation, which is gradually recovering from Covid-19.

Dr. Sinn ChanSerey Vutha told EAC News that through the cooperation between the Secretariat of Civil Aviation and BOEING on the assessment of the Cambodian market. The US giant Company has predicted that the number of air passengers will increase by the end of 2023 or early 2024 if nothing else happens.

"BOEING has partnered with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the International Airline Association (IATA), the International Airport Council and other stakeholders, BOEING has predicted that by the end of 2023 or early 2024 "We will get the same number of passengers as in 2019."

According to Dr. Sinn ChanSerey Vutha, as of August 2022, there were 25 re-connecting airlines and the number of passengers increased by nearly 1.2 million, an increase of nearly 600% compared to the same period last year.
