Prime Minister Orders the Remove of San Bunthoeun From the Army

PHNOM PENH: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, has ordered the bodyguard commander, General Hing Bun Heang, to expel San Bunthoeun from the army. The eviction was due to San Bunthoeun still drinking and cursing on social media, despite the PM's advice.

PM wrote: "San Bunthoeun's bad character can not be changed. To help San Bunthoeun and his wife, me and my wife have helped San Bunthoeun to buy a house and to give San Bunthoeun $ 500 a month since 2018. I used to educate San Bunthoeun not to drink and crusing people, but this man character does not change. To avoid any confusion today, I have ordered the bodyguard commander to request the expulsion of San Bunthoeun from the army."

It should be noted that in 2018, the Minister of National Defense, Tea Banh, appointed San Bunthoeun, ID number 170248 as Assistant Commander of the Bodyguard Command with the rank of Major.
